Heather and Lilac was created in 2024 and has been a labor of love for Heather and several of her friends, all of whom have been working tirelessly to assist in creating Heather’s dream of bringing DIY products to people.

Heather comes from a long line of makers. Her grandmother taught her how to cross-stitch and her parents are avid woodworkers. Her mother has also taught her all manner of crafting, and they share a love of learning how things work and making items themselves.

Heather first learned to make candles during a DIY day with her friends. They each made a 2oz candle and Heather was hooked. A few years later, someone very special in her life convinced her to start her business, a close friend helped her name it, and here we are!
